I’m excited by the continued success and growth of The Fabric and am pleased to announce that Shridhar Venkatraman and Ashu Pande join The Fabric team. Shridhar and Ashu will be playing an important role in co-creating The Fabric companies in the cloud space and will also be working closely with our cohort of companies who will gain from the richness of their experience.
Today’s networks work harder than ever. Our reliance on apps and cloud services means that nearly everything we do — even writing this blog — requires constant network chatter. However, not all networks are the same, nor are all types of network traffic. For example, if our Facebook updates or even our Hangout video occasionally lag, we’re unlikely to notice or be too concerned.
2018 marks the fifth anniversary of The Fabric. When Rajan Raghavan, Prabakar Sundarrajan, and I conceived the structure of The Fabric, we intended to find a way to collaborate with entrepreneurs we respected to co-create new ideas and technologies that we loved, and to work with investors in an innovative way.
